According to German press BMW is preparing to launch a new fireball which will have a hybrid propulsion system and will develop about 600 hp. Technical details are ready and waiting for approval to launch the new BMW fireball.

The official debut will be made in 2013, and in the absence of a name is assumed that the future will be called M8 fireball. It will be inspired by the concept Vision EfficientDynamics presented at the Frankfurt Motor Show in 2009, but it will be compared with 5 inches longer and adopt traditional doors.

M8 future will combine a V10 engine that develops 507 hp and a torque of 520 Nm with two electric motors, one on deck in front and one back placed between the V10 engine and automatic gearbox M-Sport.

The first electric motor develops between 80 and 115 hp and the second a further 50 bhp. Because an aluminum chassis, extensive use of carbon fiber, Kevlar sports seats and many parts of magnesium and aluminum, M8 future will weigh only 1500 kilograms.

All this will help make future fireball sprint from 0 to 100km / h in 3.8 seconds.

Price for M8 will be around 150,000 euros.
