Now, wouldn’t it have been nice if the above rendering had actually managed to convince the decision-makers at Mercedes-Benz’ headquarters in Stuttgart that this is what the 2009 CLC should look like ?

We would have certainly preferred it from the final design proposition (check out the last two images after the jump) that economically wiggled its way into production.
