Spyker, a Dutch car manufacturer that started producing cars back in 1880, managed to surprise a few at the Auto Show in Geneva this week, unveiling their latest model, C8 Aileron inspired from the older model, C8 Spyder.

It uses Audi’s 4.2L V8 engine that has 400 little horses inside and for the first time is going to be offered with both a manual 6-speed Getrag gearbox and an automatic 6-speed ZF transmission, which they think will make it more appealing to a potential customer.

Spyker C8 Aileron was built with an aluminum space frame, includes some new vents and scoops, the wheelbase increased 10cm for better handling, torsional rigidity improved by 40% without adding weight, and the car has a virtually square design thanks to a widened front track.
